A healthy hit of Chlorella, Spirulina, Barley, Wheat & Alfalfa Grass all in the one Essential Organics Super Greens blend! Blended with roasted almonds & delicious bursts of goji berries, this is a perfect Nutritious on the go snack or afternoon treat.

The Essential Organics Super Greens slice will provide you with protein, B vitamins and Phyto-Nutrients which is wonderful for your bodies energy needs. You could also try adding in some Essential Organics 70/30 Pea & Rice Protein blend for an extra burst of protein for an after workout snack or an in between meal pick up! 

You can mix up the nuts to any that you prefer. Roasted brazil nuts are a wonderful addition or peanuts (if you are not allergic). You could also add in some seeds such as pumpkin seeds (pepita’s) or sunflower seeds. Instead of the goji berries, you could try chopped dates, chopped figs, inca berries or rasins. 

As you can see this Super Greens slice is very versatile and you can mix, change or add to your own flavour preferences!

Makes 12 slices

Greens Bar:

2 cups of rolled oats

1 cup of almonds

1 1/2 cups puffed millet or quinoa

1 cup of goji berries, chopped

1 tbsp Essential Organics Super Greens blend 

1/3 cup brown rice syrup

3 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 cup tahini 

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla bean powder

Choc Layer:

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/4 cup cacao powder


(1) Line a baking tray/tin with baking paper and preheat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

(2) On a lined baking tray, place oats & almonds and roast for 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.

(3) In a large bowl add millet puffs, cooled oats & almonds, vanilla, chopped goji berries and Essential Organics Super Greens blend. Mix well.

(4) In a small saucepan on low heat, add maple syrup, brown rice syrup, coconut oil and tahini. Whisk until well combined & quickly poor into bowl with dry ingredients. Mix until well coated. Flatten and place in fridge to set.

(5) In another small saucepan, place all choc coating ingredients on low heat and stir to combine. Remove from heat and allow to cool down and become thick. Poor over the top of green bar slice and place back in the fridge to set.

(6) When set, slice and enjoy! Store in air tight container for up to 1 week.
